Dave Hart - Diversity (2006)

The unfolding
Each song's environment was created by combining acoustic and electric guitar arrangements with a Roland guitar synthesizer and other audio effects. Ideal for those who like music to be a sensory escape from the world, interpretive and sound surrounding - but with a few surprises.
DIVERSITY is a musical montage album bringing together expansive and sonic atmospheres that bridge musical tastes and are the heart of Dave's debut solo album.
With thick layers of ‘synth-struments’, Dave is able to combine the smarts of Ottmar Liebart with the boldness of Craig Chaquico and Mike Oldfield. All while crafting a tightly produced thought provoking album appealing to indie, new age and jazz fans alike.
Interesting arrangements that invoke fantasy and enlightenment present a listening experience with strangely optimistic melancholy. Still Dave's guitar playing creates playful atmospheres stirring spatial perception with faceted optimism and hope. DIVERSITY is capable of leaving most listeners revitalized, and others relaxed from their tensions melting away.
To put it another way, Dave Hart's DIVERSITY is a demonstration of translating raw feelings and thoughts into the tangible art form that is music. It accomplishes, without words, the telling of stories using only heartfelt emotions. It's filled with light and airy melodies, coupled with sparse orchestration and tinges of underlying edge and groove attachments.
