I often thought about providing guitar instruction for a few friends' years ago. And then I committed some time and before I could finish up with one person, other people became interested in obtaining sessions as well. So now it has developed to become one of the most rewarding activities of my life - to share knowledge one to one.
I provide an advanced series of acoustic and electric guitar instruction. They are comprised of five (5) specific areas. Depending on the individual's ability and experience, we spend varying amounts of time in each area.
- Chord Theory (understanding and building of various traditional/progressive chord families)
- Scale Theory (basics of soloing techniques, major/minor builds, and modal introduction)
- Riffs and Picks (learning individual song riffs, arpeggios and various picking styles)
- Song Structures (exploring popular songs, basic notation and tablature)
- Sound Recording (Recording basics, line levels, multi-tracking, editing, mixing, effects processing, mastering applications etc...)
