More.ca - Trance Lucent (2000)
- embodies overtones of progressive rock, goth, funk and fusion.
The recordings on Trance Lucent revealed a quartet performing as a creatively rejuvenated ensemble. Sadly, as scheduling conflicts and other issues eventually took their toll on the band, and therefore we didn’t continue as a group.
The unfolding
There were special stories to tell on Trance Lucent and our vocalist/guitarist Miguel Calavaro did an incredible job at delivering the emotion. And we were supported by our stable rhythm section, consisting of Fernando Longhi and Jory Kinjo (of the Mocking Shadows).
When you listen to the recordings, you may recognize fragments of other influential acts such as:
- The Mission
- Sisters of Mercy
- The Tea Party

Heavily laden with character and depth, the band shines with songs such as 'Scarlet', Torch', and 'Candletown'.
Some residual components of the project reside at More.ca (thanks Mike More!) while some of my personal song favorites are available in Hart Sounds.
